Nike, Inc.

Have you ever played any sport? If you play sport, I think you must know this brand. That is the one of the most famous sport company in the world. This company was founded on 25 January 1964, originally known as Blue Ribbon Sports, by Bill Bowerman who is track athlete and Philip Knight who is Bill Bowerman's coach. The swoosh, is a design create in 1971 by Carolyn Davidson who is a graphic design student at Portland State University, was first used by Nike in June 1971 and was registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on 22 January 1974. The first shoe to carry this design that was sold to public was a soccer shoe named Nike which was released in the summer of 1971. The company's first self-design product was based on Bowerman's waffle design. His efforts were rewarded one Sunday morning when he poured liquid urethane into his wife's waffle iron. Bowerman developed and refined the so-called waffle sole which would evolve into the now-ironic Waffle Trainer in 1974. Nike's first national television commercials ran in October 1982 during the broadcast of the New York Marathon. The advertisements were created by Portland -based advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy which had formed several months earlier in April 1982. Both Nike and Wieden + Kenedy have created many indelible print and television advertisements and the agency continues to be Nike's primary today. It was agency co-founder Dan Wieden who coined the now-famous slogan, Just Do It, for a 1988 Nike advertisement campaign that debuted on 1 July 1988. Thorough out 1980s, Nike expanded its product line to include many other sports and regions throughout the world. In my opinion, this named is suitable for this product because they could conquer many product around the world as meaning of their name. And another reason that can make people who interested in sport impressed in this product is development of this product such as football boots that I have used that is the most modern boots of this century. Since they could use carbon material for this innovation. Finally, I expect that they could do better. And I also use products from this company as long as possible.
